"...Lost Highway = Highway to Hell..." - hell yeah!
this band proves that any song - even AC-DC, KISS and Spinal Tap! - can be played by talented bluegrass pickers, and these guys can pick!!
they capture the essence of these rock classics, without copying every note - it's a fun listen, and had me laughing out loud - especially funny are the Spinal Tap anthem "Big Bottoms" and the Hayseed original "I Wish I Was You"...great stuff!

A Couple of notes about this show....
This is for sure one of the better shows I have seen, Sweepy is the Grandson of Grand Ol Opry hall of Fame Players. Let me tell you this cat can Play!!! He just tore it up and it really added a new dimension to the band which I LIKED! The tempo of the night was FAST, in fact it was a little too fast....Dave(Drums) was fired up as I listen to it, playing so fast Im suprised the brushes didnt fly out of the handles. I gotta say though for having Home field Advantage the crowd was mellow....Not at all what its like seeing them anywheres else. John tells me it's cause the people all play in Nashvegas and are too cool to get crazy...Well it was my mission to get the place fired up & I tried my hardest, Dancin my Ass off and Hootin & Hollerin.
More coming soon

the brothers reno, offspring of banjo ace don reno, rock the outhouse!!! these boys are smokin', and i'd love to have some of what they smoke!! so kick back, crack open a frosty falstaff, fire up a chesterfield and dance like a wild hillbilly! here's hoping that this is the first of many more shows to come.
